The Henderson County Heritage Museum needs loaned artifacts for exhibits. Exhibits will rotate according to the following themes:
| Let Freedom Ring | Lifestyles | Government |
| Special Displays | Noteworthy Events | Communication and Transportation |
| Spiritual Life | Agriculture | Eduction |
| Women | Recreation/Tourism | Black History and Culture |
| Industry and Mining |
The museum is not requesting donated artifacts. The Henderson County Heritage Museum will insure the loaned work "wall-to-wall" under its fine arts policy against "all risks" of physical loss or damage, while in transit and on location, throughout the period of the loan.
Precautions will be taken to protect the work from fire, theft, mishandling, extremes of light, temperature and humidity while in the museum's custody.
